Mike Strazzo, Chief, Merit Operations Division
Mike Strazzo was appointed as the Chief, Merit Operations Division in July 2007. In this role, he oversees the development and administration of examinations for servicewide and departmental classifications, as well as providing exam-related policy guidance to State departments.
Mr. Strazzo has acquired almost 30 years of State human resources management experience while working for the Department of Water Resources, Department of Child Support Services, Department of Personnel Administration, and Department of Toxic Substances Control.
Mr. Strazzo was a member of the Human Resources Modernization Task Force in 2007, and he worked on the California Performance Review in 2004, as part of the Personnel Management team.
