Office of Civil Rights

The Office of Civil Rights (OCR) at the State Personnel Board (SPB) is responsible for monitoring the state civil service workforce and for developing and maintaining state policies and procedures regarding the provision of equal employment opportunity and ensuring non-discrimination in the state's employment practices. It does NOT investigate discrimination complaints. In addition, the OCR coordinates the State Employee Mediation Program and serves as a technical resource for the state civil service.
