Seasonal Employment
Depending on need and budget constraints California State Departments may hire Seasonal Employees during times of the year they experience a higher level of work. For example, the Franchise Tax Board hires Seasonal Clerks during tax filing season. The Department with the Seasonal Vacancy may choose to post those vacancies on the State Personnel Board's Web site.
Interested candidates should contact the Department(s) they are interested in directly to verify how that Department advertises their Seasonal Vacancies.
